A charmless ranch house nestled in a tremendous setting is brought into sharp renewed focus, re-clad in a semi-historical ‘Spanish’ series of interventions, including a new tower above the entry foyer and long colonnaded patio at the rear. A large story-and-a-half great room addition is the new focus of the home, opening onto a renovated rear yard and pool deck, while the bedroom wing has been completely gutted and reorganized for 21st century living.
